Overpromise and Underdeliver

JBS were engaged on our residential project to install air conditioning & underfloor heating. Our experience was very poor and fell well below the standard of reasonable skill and care expected. Air conditioning: the installation led to water leaks. The design and specification also appeared fundamentally wrong for the space. The system was undersized for a glass room. When faults arose, no competent investigation/resolution plan. Shifting explanations, inaccurate info, responsibility deflected. A manufacturer visit did not result in JBS taking corrective action, instead hiding results and no workable remedy. Underfloor heating: system was not correctly specced, not pressure tested before screed was laid. Communication & supervision were poor, esp. from the Director Sean F, including a failure to coordinate properly with the main contractor for our benefit. Despite written promises and a formal request to remedy defects under consumer law, JBS failed to fix. We cannot recommend them.
